The Input Submit Tag allows you to create a button in your form that visitors can use to click on and submit the form information to you.

How to set an Input Submit Tag:

<INPUT TYPE="SUBMIT" ALIGN="top">

ALIGN= This allows you to align your button. The attributes used within this are, TOP, BOTTOM, MIDDLE, LEFT or RIGHT.

<INPUT TYPE="SUBMIT" DISABLED>

DISABLED This allows you to display a field, but the visitor will not be allowed to enter information into the field.

<INPUT TYPE="SUBMIT" ERROR="error message here">

ERROR= This allows you to set an error message for this field.

NAME= This allows you to set a name for the form.

VALUE= This allows you to set the text that appears on the button that is created.

Form Input Text  <INPUT TYPE="TEXT">

The Text Type Input Tag sets a single line text entry field within the form that contains it. The NAME attribute is a required field and is used to identify the data for the field.

How to set an Input Text Tag:

<INPUT TYPE="TEXT" ALIGN="top">

ALIGN= This allows you to align your button. The attributes used within this are, TOP, BOTTOM, MIDDLE, LEFT or RIGHT.

<INPUT TYPE="TEXT" DISABLED>

DISABLED This allows you to display a field, but the visitor will not be allowed to enter information into the field.

<INPUT TYPE="TEXT" ERROR="error message here">

ERROR= This allows you to set an error message for this field.

NAME= This allows you to set a name for the form.

<INPUT TYPE="TEXT" MAXLENGTH="50">

MAXLENGTH= This allows you to set the maximum number of characters a visitor can enter into the field.

<INPUT TYPE="TEXT" SIZE="20">

SIZE= This allows you to set the width of the field that is displayed to the visitor.

VALUE= This allows you to set the value associated with this field.

Form Select  <SELECT> </SELECT>

The Form Select Tag allows you to create drop-down boxes with different options listed. This tag works in conjunction with the <OPTION> Tag to define the individual choices you want in the drop-down box.

How to set a Form Select Tag:

<SELECT ALIGN="top">

ALIGN= This allows you to align your button. Attributes used within this are, TOP, BOTTOM, MIDDLE, LEFT or RIGHT.

<SELECT DISABLED>

DISABLED This allows you to display a field, but the visitor will not be allowed to select it.

<SELECT ERROR="error message here">

ERROR= This allows you to set an error message for this field.

<SELECT NAME="name here" MULTIPLE>

MULTIPLE This allows you to specify that a visitor can choose multiple options.

<SELECT NAME="name here">

NAME= This allows you to set a name for the field.

SELECTED This allows you to set which option item will be displayed to the visitor as the default choice.

<SELECT SIZE="3">

SIZE= This allows you to set how many lines of options will be displayed. The default is 1.

Form Textarea  <TEXTAREA> </TEXTAREA>

The Textarea Tag allows you to set a mutliple line text entry field that visitors can type large amounts of information into.

How to set a Form Textarea Tag:

<TEXTAREA ALIGN="top">

ALIGN= This allows you to align your text area box. The attributes used within this are, TOP, BOTTOM, MIDDLE, LEFT or RIGHT.

<TEXTAREA COLS="50">

COLS= This allows you to set the width in characters of the text area.

<TEXTAREA DISABLED>

DISABLED This allows you to set an option field but the visitor will not be allowed to select it.

<TEXTAREA ERROR="error message here">

ERROR= This allows you to set an error message for this field.

<TEXTAREA ROWS="3">

ROWS= This allows you to set the number of lines the text area contains.

<TEXTAREA WRAP="virtual">

WRAP= This allows you to set how the words that the visitors enter will be wrapped in the box, or allow you to disable wrapping altogether. The attributes used within this are, OFF, SOFT, HARD, PHYSICAL and VIRTUAL.

Frame  <FRAME> </FRAME>

The Frame Tag is entered inside the <FRAMESET> Tag, and allows you to set your individual frame information.

How to set a Frame Tag:

<FRAME ALIGN="top">

ALIGN= This allows you to set the alignment of objects in a frame. The attributes used within this are, LEFT, RIGHT, TOP, TEXTTOP, MIDDLE, ABSMIDDLE, BASELINE, BOTTOM and ABSBOTTOM.

<FRAME FRAMEBORDER="Yes">

FRAMEBORDER= This allows you to set with a value of YES or NO, if a border should be displayed around a frame.

<FRAME FRAMESPACING="5">

FRAMESPACING= This allows you to set the number of pixels displayed between each frame.

<FRAME MARGINHEIGHT="10">

MARGINHEIGHT= This allows you to set the top and bottom margin height in pixels.

<FRAME MARGINWIDTH="5">

MARGINWIDTH= This allows you to set the width of the left and right margin in pixels.

<FRAME NAME="myframe.html">

NAME= This allows you to set a specific name for the frame. Use the TARGET attribute in your link code with this name to open a link within this frame.

<FRAME NORESIZE>

NORESIZE This allows you to decide if a visitor can resize the frame with their mouse.

<FRAME SCROLLING="Yes">

SCROLLING= This allows you to specify if a frame will display a scrollbar with a value of YES, NO or AUTO (default setting).

<FRAME SRC="mypage.html">

SRC= This allows you to set a webpage to be loaded into a frame.

Frameset  <FRAMESET> </FRAMESET>

The Frameset Tag allows you to split the displayed browser screen into several smaller windows. Each window can contain a seperate web page.

How to set a Frameset Tag:

<FRAMESET ROWS="25,25,400">

ROWS= This allows you to set how many and what dimensions the rows in your frames should be. Enter the height size in pixels of each row.

<FRAMESET COLS="25,25,400">

COLS= This allows you to set how many colums your frames should contain.
