I don't know about you, but I absolutely love the TV show E.R. You can't beat a good hospital drama and I've seen a few, but this tops the lot, it's exciting, and makes you feel warm, happy and sad at the same time, yet makes you feel wonderful about life. I just can't get enough of it.
Lord of the Rings - The Fellowship of the Ring. Starring Elijah Wood and Ian McKellen, this has to be one of the greats, up for 13 nominations at the oscars. I went to see this at the cinema, the first time I'd been to the cinema in some time and I was totally thrilled, it was absolutely awe inspiring! Yes it has its mistakes (pointed out in the media), but when actually watching it for the first time, you saw no mistakes as later pointed out, let's face it, do you really look for mistakes? I know for sure I don't - if I see them, then I see them, but I go to the cinema hoping to see a good movie, and that's what I saw in that of Lord Of The Rings. I heard they're
making two more - Twin Towers and Return of the King, well I for one shall be going to see them both, and if anywhere near as good as the first, I'll be totally satisfied.
George Clooney is one of my favourite actors of all time, I don't know what it is about him, but he just seems a natural for the camera. I wasn't happy when he left ER, but was reasonably pleased with the fact that he was going into the film industry, a sad loss for ER, but a hell of a gain for the film industry. To Sandra Bullock, she's not one of the best I know, but definately beautiful, a true stunner for better word.
The thing what always gets to me about her, is when she does her sort of short cough, just really gets to me...lol.
Britney Spears, what can I say about Britney Spears? Fantastic, beautiful, a complete knockout. :o) The critics can say what they want about her, but I believe that this woman will be around for a long time at the top, doesn't surprise me in the least, great songs and great looks, what more can one ask for!
Fallin' by Alicia Keys, what a beautiful song, first time I heard it I fell in love with it, lovely through and through and performed by a fantastic singer in that of Alicia Keys, whom I'm sure has a bright future ahead of her.
Clive Cussler, you may not recognize the name, but you may recognize the movie 'Raise The Titanic', well he wrote that, he also wrote my favourite book, Shockwave. It's based on the same principle character from 'Raise The Titanic', Dirk Pitt, just one thing surprises me, that it's not been made into a movie, because I strongly believe it would be a brilliant one. I hope some movie producers think the same way as I do, and quickly make it, I for one would stampede my way through the crowd to see it.
On to sport and my favourite has to be Formula 1 racing, without a doubt it's brilliant and I never seem to tire from it. I've been watching it for a long long time, supported different drivers in the past, mainly two I admired the most, one of which is now sadly gone from this world the great Ayrton Senna, a true master, and once I never thought another could ever take his place, but I have to say that one has in the way of Michael Schumacher, at first I thought he was nothing but erratic, but how wrong I was, because this guy is nothing short of true greatness, the way he seems to get that extra edge out of both the car he drives and the track he's driving on!
My favourite pets are my 2 gerbils, Sandy and Beauty, they're a messy pair with their burrowing, it gets everywhere lol, but
they're cute, sometimes I laugh at the way they fight for who's first to take a drink, and the way they take turns on whom sleeps on who, just cute :o)
Food, ah now we're talking my language, and pasta is one of my favourites, but to be honest there is an endless list, just couldn't fit them all onto this page...lol and my favourite drink has to be water now a days, because I drink a lot of bottled natural spring water, which I have to say is better than drinking alcohol.
