Character Goals: **Two year Goal - Gain fathers approval by graduating the academy. **Five year Goal - Gain father's approval by achieving his rank or better when he was at this stage in his career. Character Background: Draven Harold Monroe entered the academy at 18 years of age and graduated with honors. On the field he earned himself several promotions through heroic deeds and mental prowess. He met Nina after she operated on him after a particulary nasty mission. A steamy love affair began and progressed for several years. During this time Hayden was concieved. The Zentraedi chose to attack Neo York where the two lived. Draven was in battle and witnessed the complete destruction of the Hospital where Nina worked. She was scheduled to work that day and was reported as one of those missing when the building collapsed. At this point she was in the late stages of her pregnancy. Several days passed; both Draven and Nina's sister Zoe became convinced that Nina was dead. Both shared their grief and offered comfort to one another. The mutual comfort evolved into something more primal and base needs were mutually taken care of. This fling concieved Jamie. Two days later rubble was moved to expose a pocket of protected space. Within this pocket were several survivors, including Nina. She was rushed to another hospital where she promptly gave birth to Hayden. Zoe and Draven mutually agreed not to discuss what had transpired. At Zoe's encouragement, Draven proposed to Nina and the two were eventually married. Zoe chose to live near the couple so that Jamie could benefit from his father's presence even if he was not aware of it. Hence, Hayden and Jamie grew up together and were childhood friends. As the time passed Draven lost a great deal of his youthful innocence. He became more cynical and withdrawn, pulling away from all of his family except for his son. Jamie was showered with encouragement and praise and brought along to the Military base for frequent visits. Though Hayden was not given the same treatment, she too was brought along as Jamie would not go anywhere without her. Hayden grew dissatisfied with her relationship with her father. She tried to attract his attention by doing better than James in any activity he became proficient in. This drew no attention from her father so eventually Hayden gave up. She turned her focus to her mother and began the nessary training to follow in her footsteps in the medical field. She entered NYU for Premed and began her schooling with the intent to become a Doctor. Jamie joined the academy on his 18th birthday. He began to follow in Draven's footsteps with a few pulled strings. Eventually father and son were stationed to the same base. During a Zentraedi attack it and many men were destroyed. Jamie was one of the many injured so Hayden came to the base visit him. Hayden tried to talk Jamie into quitting the military. She wanted to protect him, keep from loosing him. Draven heard of the conversation and for the first time in several years, he sought her out. An argument ensued between the two of them, several harsh things were said and the Jamie's heritage was brought to light. Draven informed his daughter that she was a disapointment and would never amount to anything as she would not fight for her people's right to exist. This fight reached Hayden on several levels. First and formost: she had to prove her father wrong. The next thought to her mind was that someone with a working brain had to protect Jamie, regardless of wether or not he wanted that protection. The last thought she embraced was that she would prove that she could make a diffrence, that she was not a disapointment. She had intended to heal her people but fighting for them was something she could do as well. Hayden dropped out of her third year in Premed and joined the military. She intends to make the most out of her new career, to prove a point to her father, and to protect her best friend, cousin and brother.
