The Piedmont Chapter

Military Officers Association of America

South Carolina

Welcome to the Piedmont Chapter webpage. The Chapter was founded in 1963 and consists of approximately 100 members. Our organizational meetings are scheduled every other month alternating between sites in Anderson and Clemson. The Chapter is also an affiliate of the national Military Officers Association of America (MOAA) and supports efforts to protect and enhance the benefits of the military community while serving the interests of the nation and South Carolina. Our Chapter is proud and grateful that the Richard M. Campbell Veterans Nursing Home and the M.J. “Dolly” Cooper Veterans Cemetery are a part of its upstate landscape.

The Piedmont Chapter’s area is defined as the ZIP codes encompassing Anderson, Belton, Central, Clemson, Honea Path, Iva, LaFrance, Liberty, Norris, Pendleton, Sandy Springs, Six Mile, Starr and Williamston. Membership in the Chapter is extended to all commissioned and warrant officers of the seven (7) uniformed services in a status of active duty, retired, Reserve, National Guard, or as a former officer. The seven uniformed services are indicated by their insignia at the top of this page and are USA, USMC, USN, USAF, USCG, NOAA, and the USPHS. Surviving spouses of members are eligible for membership as auxiliary members.
