Social Events
Planned social event for members, spouses, and guests are held
throughout the year. Normally this consists of a dinner and guest speaker at a local
club or restaurant. Other activities have been golf outings,
tailgate events, benefit auctions, and receptions.

Newsletter
A monthly newsletter is mailed to all members, with information on current
topics. The specifics about upcoming social events are included.
Awards
Awards are provided to local high school JROTC cadets and to ROTC
students at Furman University.
Scholarship
The COL Charles C. Grant Award is presented annually to an ROTC student at
Furman University, where COL Grant was Professor of Military Science. COL
Grant, now deceased, was also the founder and first president of the Greenville
Chapter.
Charitable Giving
Annual donations have included Meals on Wheels, Boy's Home of
the South, and the Salvation Army
Handbook and Roster
Every two years, a fifty page Handbook and Roster is published with a membership
list, the chapter's bylaws, and other useful information.
