Made from predominantly Monterey County Chardonnay, this wine has true 'cool climate' personality with bright tropical fruit, a hint of citrus and gentle oak. The palate is expansive, full and creamy with crisp balancing acidity. Fantastic with chargrilled chicken or light fish dishes.

Beaune 1er Cru Les Toussaints 2003, Albert Morot, at Majestic Wine
An excellent example of 1er Cru Beaune made with hand selected grapes from fourty year old vines. The wine is aged in both new and old wood for 16 months and then bottled without filtration. The nose shows expressive notes of cherry, raspberry, leather and liquorice, with good density on the palate. The finish is persistent with a hint of minerality. Excellent when drunk with regional French cheeses.

The wine is barrel-fermented and offers ripe pear and spice aromas with a long elegant finish.
