What is the team’s assessment of the office 2000 project? What criteria would you use to judge whether this project is a success?

Microsoft began their innovation on their product line by keeping a strong project strategy. The project managers had the potential to acquire qualitative and quantitative information on customers to help structure a more accurate product. The team’s assessment of the office 2000 project was structure on extensively detailed research. The team wanted a product aimed to the corporate buyer, which created the office suite. It is no longer based on personal productivity. The team’s method of analyzing Microsoft’s early products lead them to be able to make changes to the office 2000 package and construct it to become a very acceptable suite in the market. We have determined that in order for a project to be successful it has to stay within its proposed budgets whether is a functional approach, or an analytic approach. A project that is able to perform a product life cycle with a systems approach and maintain it through out the life of the project is a successful accomplishment.
