Fate Misled
Fate has ways to show us
The paths we need to follow along
It also has ways of bringing
Two people's hearts together, right or wrong
Fate has found some way to bring
you and I together here and now
To let go so soon, is to lose all hope
What is so wrong that cannot be fixed somehow?
I had blamed myself for us losing touch
For not being able to give you what you deserve
Though fault lays neither on you or I
But on time we could not afford to spend
My heart may forever lay in your hands
As your kiss will forever stay upon my lips
And with each day that passes we shall
Fall farther from each other, is there still hope?
Is there anything that we can do,
Or am I a fool to believe I am able to love?
Was there ever a chance for happiness,
Or have I just been misled by my own fate?
